Aela Anne Rose Boyd (now aged 6) was illegally removed from her home, friends and main carer by strangers November 2002. She remains estranged from her main parent, familiar surroundings and friends and does not want to be abandoned.
Sheriff Smith of Stranraer disgraced himself by bribing the main carer with threats that he would not see his daughter unless he immediately agreed to give interim rights of residency to the abducting parent. This is both illegal in law and obviously morally wrong to anyone with any insight or feeling for a child.
The dysfunctional mother never attempted any direct communication with the father. Instead (after being absent from her daughters life) she acted with her stepfather (a social worker working with Highland Social Services) to firstly carry out the premeditated kidnapping and secondly falsify information to mislead various authorities. No mention of this deceit appears in anything written by the sheriff.
Sheriff Smith waited three months before allowing minimal contact between Aela and her main parent although he had heard no evidence at all at this stage. He bizarrely stopped contact on the basis that he did not know what form contact should take.
What has transpired since is a shocking tale of corruption,
collusion, negligence and dereliction of duty that permeates across agencies
within the Scottish establishment. Not only have these agencies at all
levels, been unwilling to investigate these obvious crimes, they have
proven that when one of their own is involved they will do what it takes
to close ranks and protect themselves.
They have not only failed to uphold the laws and procedures that are
bestowed upon them to keep us safe from harm but most tragically they
have failed to act as protector to a vulnerable defenseless young child
who has been inhumanely torn away from everything and everyone she knew
and loved.
We now appeal to anyone in or outside Scotland who cares about Child
Safety, Child Protection and basic human rights to take whatever action
possible to help an innocent child illegally and criminally abducted
and abused.
